Eyes: Strangely, the Xaen has both a black pupil, and a black iris in addition. Which makes the color of his umbral rings stand out all the more against such a dark backdrop.
Skin: Smooth and soft to the touch due to how much he cares for it. He lacks any form of scars or blemishes, aside from his freckles which are dotted over most of his body save for what's covered by scales.
Scales: An almost khaki color dotted over every inch with black smatterings of freckles, They are also smooth to the touch and lack any sort of 'rough' feel to them.
Horns: With the same texture and pattern as his scales, his horns host a set of piercings and rose gold tips that serve as horn protectors.
Tail: His tail is covered in scales textured more closely to smooth snake skin. It's also prehensile, and serves as an extra 'hand' when he needs one.

As the pages turn

Early Life

  • Yasu was born to a Raen woman who was part of the lesser Tsurugi Clan, and a Qalli from the Kha. He was the result of the lovers final night together before his mother had to flee the incoming occupation of Doma. He was born in the city of Gridania.

  • He was raised by a well to do merchant family, and therefore has a well-educated background and nurtured talents in the arts.

  • Was adopted into the Deaupanc family when his mother married his stepfather, he was trained to handle trade between Thanalan and the Shroud.

The Calamity

  • He survived the fall of Dalamud by sheer dumb luck.

  • He rebuild the family network and business, and reestablish the family back into their prior role and importance to the now healing world.

  • Married his ex-husband Kesh

  • Picked up archery shortly after to go on adventures with said husband

Heavensward

  • Joined up with The Order of the Zu Kesh, and purchased a house in the Goblet near the Order's headquarters

  • Divorced Kesh a year later and went off on his own

  • Went into conjury since he was looking for more stability in his work

  • After rising up within the ranks of the Conjurer's guild, he went and joined the private militia 'Daybreak' and became their field medic

  • While in Daybreak, he also expanded upon his healing practices with Sharlyan shield and barrier magic - mixed with Garlean surgical practices

Stormblood

  • Daybreak disbanded, which resulted in Yasu traveling to the Steppe in order to try and find his father. Resulting in him joining up with a Qalli tribe

  • He learned the Xaelic language and met his father, then coordinated with his family back in Girdania to get his father to Eorzea with his parents. His parents are now in a trio

  • Joined The Desiderium Enclave

  • After the dismantling of the enclave he joined up with a ragtag group called 'Snarl'

  • Joined the Maelstrom in the battle of Ghymlit Dark

Shadowbringers

  • After Snarl, he bought his house within the mist and joined up with Brew

  • After a change of leadership within Brew however, he parted ways with the group and joined 'The Last Resort'

  • He left the Resort shortly after with a small friend group and founded the Moonbunny Burrow

  • After a falling out with the leadership there, he came full circle and rejoined the Coffee Cocktail Lounge, both as a member and as Head Bartender for their open nights where he can be found every Tuesday and Friday

Conjurer for Hire

While an Adept in Conjury, he's also dabbled in other forms of medical training and magic from worldwide sources. This is all to ensure he can give the best care he can to his patients, and get them the health and recovery they deserve. He does prefer to use surgical practices, and adheres the 'healing with magic only when necessary' line of thinking.

Need a Medic?

While currently working as an anesthesiologist at the Conjurer's Guild, he does sometimes heal those he finds out in the world. Most of his minor healing and first aid services are free. More advanced illnesses and severe trauma will result in a redirection to the Guild.

Alchemical Medicines

Using a combination of Alchemy and botanical knowledge. Yasu makes all of the medicines, salves, ointments, and elixirs he uses on his patients with his own two hands. This helps ensure that he knows exactly what his patients are getting, and make sure it's what they need in the right doses.

Bedside Manner

Absolutely no nonsense, he's willing and able to cast sleep on them if needed. With all the experience of a Overworked, Coffee-Fueled Frontlines Medic(TM), he WILL make sure you rest.

Picked up as a hobby when he was first living with his parents. He's now an accomplished goldsmith capable of creating fine detailed works, mammets, and even orchestrion related pieces for interested customers.

Yasu specializes in jewelry, and enjoys working with rare gems and precious metals. Even creating custom holders for communication linkpearls. But there will always be a special place in his heart for the mammets he creates for small children.
